State Therapy

Recognising that we’re complex beings, Ego State Therapy offers a roadmap for understanding different aspects of our personality (ego states). We all have unique parts that shape our thoughts, emotions, and actions. By getting to know them, we can tackle internal conflicts and unresolved issues that may be causing difficulties in our life.

Dialectical
Behavior Therapy

DBT blends cognitive behavioural therapy with ideas from dialectical philosophy. This is where we begin our journey together. You’ll receive a welcome pack and some initial forms to complete. This bit is all about discovery and setting the stage for our work ahead.

Mapping the future

In your early sessions we’ll explore your history, your current situation, and your goals. Together, we’ll get clear on your vision for what life will look like if therapy is successful.

Building resilience

Here’s where we lay the groundwork for your progress. We’ll complete necessary assessments and introduce key strategies that will be the pillars of your therapy experience.

Memory reprocessing

Once you feel ready, we’ll begin reprocessing using EMDR therapy, regularly checking in and tapping into various therapy methods, adapting as needed to ensure you feel safe and supported.

Reflect and realign

After reprocessing, we’ll integrate your progress and assess any lingering impacts. At this stage, you might choose to reduce session frequency and pop back in when needed, or maintain regular sessions for a while.
